Villa Adriana and Villa D'Este Gardens

These two gardens were something different than I've ever experienced in any gardens. Villa Adriana was more of ruins and how they laid everything out in such a large landscaping. While the Villa D'Este was one of my favorite gardens because of how much thought had to go into the layout of this garden. The one thing I loved the most and will take into my own projects is the use of perspectives and how they use the hedges to reveal what they want and how to hide everything to make your eyes go straight to one area only. That was amazing to me and made me admire the garden even more in multiple ways.
