The cloister in this site was magnificent. The layout may not be perfectly geometrical cause I thought it was a square but once you actually walk it it's actually a rectangle size. Even the arches are not symmetrical because some are larger in width. What caught my attention during the tour was the usage of this site plus the cloister were a community area for the silent monks. Each of the doors for the monks connect to the cloisters for them to have solitude in their own space and for organization to continue their vow of silence with no connection to each other. This was very interesting to have a cloister for connection at certain time and the layout to have a huge cloister to be used only for certain moments for the monk made the cloister a lot more unique than other cloisters in Florence and Rome.
