First Site of the ISTI Ttip: San Miniato

The first sketch we made was San Miniato. Seeing it in person was intimidating, the further back you are you get to see the whole facade and how it comes together but my perspective was changed once you get closer to the facade. How clean and precise the geometry and how you ended up looking up to the building and seeing that the scale is not what it looks like from a photograph or far away from it. As i worked myself inside it was still precise on how everything was laid out and how each piece in the altar lead you to something else that would move you through smoothly for new experiences and perspectives.
